Happy Birthday
Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? I'm not quite sure when I have ever got as little done as I did last weekend! *Hanging head in lack of output shame*
I did squeak out this one little card for this week's The Play Date Challenge #138. This picture and the colors were pretty wild (get it?!), so I thought it really fits the term "challenge" well! That's what I love about challenges like this one, though, because they really push me to try color combinations I would have never thought of on my own.
I flipped open the back of my Stampin' Up! catalog and found a card on page 202 with a layout that I thought would work well, so I cased it for my card. It helped me envision where I would "put these colors" so that helped a lot. It definitely fits that design principle (I forget the name) where you use different amounts of each color, like the most of one color, then a smaller amount of the next color, then an even smaller amount of the next color, and a very tiny amount of the last color.
Okay, better get moving. It's laundry day, yippee! hehe! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!
