CFC #36: Forever

Happy Wednesday! Anybody else trying to make it until Saturday at noon?! That's when my weekend will start, ha!

I've been trying to get this card uploaded for days now, schwooo! Finally made it! It's for the Casual Friday #36 Penguin Suit challenge, in honor of Penguin Awareness Day! I've never met any penguins, but I do love them, especially since the movie Happy Feet! :) You could only use black and white, not a speck of another color. I'm not sure mine is *simple* enough, but it is what it is, and I enjoyed making it! *wink*

Off to *perfect* my lessons for tomorrow and grade a few papers. Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Cardstock: SU Basic Black and retired patterned paper.
Accessories: SU Heart Trio punch, Tulle Ribbon (Maya Road?), Maya Road chipboard "forever", SU chunky black glitter, 2-way glue pen, dimensionals.

My Sweetie!

Happy Sunday! Hope you're having a great weekend! We are having some crazy warm weather in Texas, but I see some of you are having snow. I'm just a *teensy* bit jealous, shhhh, don't tell anyone!

Here is a card for My Sweetie! hee! hee! I can't remember where this "sweetie" chipboard piece came from, oops. It's one of those pieces that I almost used like two years ago, and it's been laying on a corner of my desk since then! ha! It reminds me of a surfboard!

I'm going to try to do a little bit of papercrafting today, wish me luck! School is KILLING me, but that's all I'm going to say about that! *wink* Have a great day! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Cardstock: Poppy Parade.
Accessories: 7 Gypsies fabric tape, sweetie chipboard unknown, Big Shot, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Cosmo Cricket black letter stickers, pink button, black and white twine, sewing machine.

Clean & Simple FTL172: Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! I got to spend a crafty day with friends yesterday, yay! We have a 3-day weekend with the MLK holiday, so grateful for that! I'll still be going in to work Monday, but at least I was able to take a little time off this weekend!

I've been making Valentine cards whenever I can spare a few minutes, so nice to be crafting a little! I sold 60 of my Christmas cards in a Dallas shop, so now I've been trying to make some Valentine cards for them. I made 3 last Sunday, then 3 more yesterday. It would probably help if I made 2 of each while I'm going. What do you guys do? One of each card or two at a time?

I used the Clean & Simple FTL172 sketch for this one. What a great sketch, right?! I can always count on them for a sketch that I can accomplish! I used some new Labels Collection die cuts from the new Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog. Oh my, that catalog is TOO good! I've placed one order, but I have another one ready to go! hee! hee!

I'll be back with more Valentine's Day cards soon! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride, and My Mind's Eye Love Me patterned paper.
Ink: Cherry Cobbler.
Accessories: Labels Collection dies, Big Shot, Curly Label and Modern Label Punch, Blushing Bride ribbon, retired decorative brads & crochet flowers.
