CAS-ual Fridays 3rd Birthday Bash & Blogshop

Happy 3rd Birthday to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!

Michele is celebrating the 'birth' of her stamp company with a big week long sale at the store and a special blog hop!

The hopping fun started at the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog and you should have arrived here from Archana's blog!

You'll want to leave a comment on all the blogs along the way to better your chances of winning one of the fabulous prizes, including a $75 gift certificate to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and a new Misti!

    X2

For my card, I went back to one of my first CAS-ual Fridays Stamp sets, Woot Woot, which is still one of my favorites. I first had the idea to use the new Scallop Tag Fri-Dies to make a birthday cake. Cute, right?! Then I found the "Make Some Noise" sentiment fit perfectly inside the cake. I used the Oval Tag Fri-Dies to make the "cake platter" in a fun, glittery gold.  I cut some candles from the same cardstock and added some stars made with the Fun-Fetti Fri-Dies, another favorite "go to" item for me.

Time for your next stop on the hop...Kelly Griglione, the original "think outside the box" creative genius! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs & happy stamping!

Trick or Treat

Happy Friday!

I'm posting from a 4-day retreat with my girlfriends! Yay!

I played along with Retro Sketches for this one! Loved that pink polka dot paper so went with an unconventional color scheme.

Happy Birthday shout out to my mom! I wouldn't be here without her! She's my life-giver and life-saver!

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs & happy stamping!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Holiday Release Day #5

Happy day 5 of the new holiday release from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!
It's been super fun and I hope you've loved all the new goodies and cards!

Today we are showing off the new Pinecone Fri-Dies!
This is an item that many people asked for after Michele released the Pinecones stamps set last year.

I used the awesome new dies with some wool fabric and added a touch of flocking to create the look of snow. I also used the new Scallop Tag and Noel Fri-Dies. Sigh, I'm in love with those!

Head over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog to check out more great samples from the design team! There are some stunning pinecones creations!

And...all new stamps and dies from the holiday release have been released and are available at www.cas-ualfridaysstamps.com!

I can't wait to see your crafty genius using these!

Thanks so much for stopping by this week! Hugs & happy stamping!

CAS-ual Fridays & CAS-ual Chic Challenges: Tic Tac Toe'ing

Whew! What a full and fun week this has been!

Besides all of the new CAS-ual Fridays Stamps sneak peeks for the holiday release, now it's time for a new challenge! And it's a favorite...Tic Tac Toe'ing!

The top card is my CAS-ual Chic card for CCC #04...lots of utterly adorable layers.
(It doesn't actually look like a "LOT" of layers, but wow, the supply list was long!)

Below is my clean and simple card for the CAS-ual Fridays CFC #144.

For both cards I went for the diagonal Tic Tac Toe: stenciling, spritzing, distressing.
But...I also added a little (actually a LOT) of die-cutting! Couldn't help myself!

Which is your favorite?

I really hope you'll come play along! This is really a fun challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Holiday Release Day #4

I hope you've been enjoying the new holiday release from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!

Today we have a new Christmas stamp set called Lovely Blessings and a new two-piece Scallop Tag Fri-Dies set! Oh my, these are so pretty and wonderful! The stamp set has the most beautiful Christmas sentiments and the scallop tag die is so versatile...you may have noticed I've already been using it a lot this week! *wink*

For my first card above, I embossed small white snowflakes in white on watercolor paper, then used three Zig watercolor markers to color in the background. I used the small scallop tag die with striped paper, then used the bottom edge of the large scallop tag die for a little accent piece. I love doing this! (That's what I did on yesterday's card with the red glitter scallop peeking out!). Do you like the tiny little dots sprinkled about? They came from the bottom of the tag! Lastly, I added the sentiment from the new Noel Fri-Dies, love those!

My second card is super CAS and I love it! Mainly because I love that striped line stamp from the new Festival of Lights stamp set! It looks so pretty with that red felt ribbon! I embossed the sentiment and little snowflake in silver, so simple!

Please head over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog to check out more samples from the rest of the amazing design team! Seriously, this stamp set has beautiful sentiments that they showcase beautifully!

I'll be back tomorrow with the last day of the new holiday release! I shouldn't hint too much because Michele may fire me (haha!), but I think a lot of people will be very  happy!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!
