Pick a Petal <----
Well, I went to a crop last night from 6:00-midnight, and this is what I made. Hmmmm, that sounded like "my parents went on vacation and all I got was this lousy t-shirt." But seriously, how did I manage to only make one thing in 6 hours?! Was it all the talking? shopping? snacking? A combination perhaps? The important thing, however, is that I had a great time!
I'm really liking this Pick A Petal set from the upcoming Fall/Winter Catalog to be released July 1. I had this idea to stamp the petals in a half-circle around the edge of the cardstock. Then I paper-pierced (like I always do, ha! ha!) around the petals. Not bad for free-hand, huh?! I stamped the smaller flower stamp in a circle to make a big flower, but it ended up too big for the card, so I cut it in half.
My other favorite thing to do lately is make an arrow. I'm sure you've seen the arrows *everywhere*. While playing with my square punch awhile back, I figured out a way to make one, so I thought I'd share the tutorial with you. Feel free to email me if you have any questions, or if I didn't make something clear.
