Happy {for you}
No time for stamping yesterday, poor me! Don't you hate it when other things require/demand your time and attention?! lol! Thought I would share a quick card I made this last weekend before leaving for school.
This was my first attempt using the new In Color Purely Pomegranate. The color is so deep and gorgeous, but I've had a hard time deciding what to do with it. Here I stamped off (stamp once on your scratch paper before stamping on your cardstock to get a lighter shade of the ink) for the little dots behind the green flowers and added the colors Pretty in Pink and Wild Wasabi. Can I just tell you that I stamped the greeting 5 times before getting those *($* brackets lined up semi-decent enough around the "for you"! And no, I did not get out the Stamp-a-Ma-Jig because I was too stubborn (lazy & stupid) apparently. By then I was so disgusted, I just added the Making Memories flower brad and some ribbon and called it done. And that's the whole sad story, lol! Have a great Tuesday!
Recipe Stamps: Pick A Petal. Cardstock: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White. Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, & Pretty in Pink. Accessories: Corner Rounder, Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, & Making Memories Flower Brad.
