Scrapbook Sunday #25: Oh that smile!

Happy Sunday!

Remember this sneak peek I shared earlier? Well, here's the whole page!

And here it is photographed on display at Convention (Heather posted it here, thanks, Heather!):

Isn't little Maya beautiful?! She's the daughter of my friend and downline Asha, who also happens to be an amazing photographer! I stamped the large floral stamp from Just Believe to the left of the photo in Baja Breeze and stamped off before stamping on the page, but it's very light...maybe should have done it full strength in the Baja Breeze ink and it would have faded a little bit over time. Oh, and for that multi-layer scallop ruffle, I have to thank Kazan over at 2S4Y. I loved the week she had this sketch, and I thought, "Why not do that across a whole scrapbook page?!" So thanks, Kazan!

Well, I haven't stamped or created anything since Thursday night! That's what happens when I get into a good book. I finished reading Shiver today and went to Border's with my 40% off coupon and bought the 2nd book in the series, Linger. I was 30 on the library wait list and the used book store didn't have it either! Thank goodness for those 40% off coupons, just in time! *Maybe* I'll try to make one card before starting on Linger, I do have some Sunday night shows to watch after all. Oh how I *heart* summer vacation! Two weeks to go...

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

You take clean and simple to an art! I have a lot of respect for your ability to do that and create such interesting pages. This one is truly beautiful - love the ribbon rosette, the scallop frill (soo cool!) and the stitched letters at the bottom. The picture is really cute, too!

Your page is framed by two of my projects: the long tall card with the green sponging in the sky and the bag with the scallop topper.

Can't wait to see your next projects!
Cindy :)
