A Little Somethin: Lovey Dovey

Happy Tuesday and Happy Inauguration Day! Just realized I should have made a "celebration" card to post! Instead, here I am all "lovey dovey"! hee! hee! Does anyone have any exciting stories to share about Inaugaration Day? Anyone lucky enough to go in person? Do tell!

I used the new level 2 hostess set "A Little Somethin" again. I am soooo dying to get some new stamps! I usually order the first day a new catalog comes out and overnight or 2-day air it, but I'm trying to wait until Sell-a-Bration on February 1. It's not easy, argh!

Anyway, just a standard size card with a mix of things and some more sewing, can't seem to stop! Maybe I'll get ambitious and make another bobbin so I can sew with something besides brown thread this week! lol!

I'm off to bed, should go to sleep early after the mere 5 hours last night, but I'm almost finished reading The Hidden Diary of Marie Antoinette, so I have to finish it tonight. Can't wait to see how it ends! hee! hee! I've got a real bad feeling!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Recipe
Stamps: A Little Somethin
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Bella Rose DSP, Urban Garden DSP.
Ink: Little Red Riding Hood, Baja Breeze.
Accessories: Red Riding Hood 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Horizontal Slot Punch, Not Quite Navy Button, Silver Brad, Linen Thread, Dimensionals, Glue Dot, Janome Sew Mini.

I'm in awe of your stitching cuz I must've broken another sewing machine! I do not have good luck with them. So this time I'm going to try getting it repaired.

Cute card!

I didn't go to inauguration, but I went to the mall last night! It was too cold and crowds aren't my thang, so that was the best I could do!

Angie - I LOVE your Lovey Dovey card and it makes me SO glad that I chose that Hostess Set when I placed my order from the new catalog yesterday!! I plan on CASE'ing your card to some extent! I need to get out my Sew Mini and learn to use it!

I admire your patience to wait til Feb 1st to order your new stuff - there's not way I could do that! Well, I'm telling myself I needed to bump up my January totals!! Heehee.... Love your blog!!!

I love the LO on this one, Angie!

I'm trying my bestest to wait for SAB, too, but some of those accessories are just so yummy, I can't wait to get my hands on 'em!

I love the color combo and your stitching. You are showing great restraint by waiting until Feb.1 to order.

I couldn't get this comment thingy to work earlier. I like these last few cards, dig the zig zag. I think those people were sweet to let you picture them at the crop. I look to crappy at crop times! HA!

This is awesome!! LOVE the colors and the design's fantastic!!

I need to do another bobbin but too lazy, he he. So my sewing is always white... or off white. Or whatever's on there really :)

Late comer here, hope you see this post. Watched the Inauguaration of President Obama in slow updates on CNN at my work computer. Totally awesome! Makes one so grateful to live in a country that can make a peaceful change of power. Love the heart, interesting color combo! TFS!
