Take a Number: July 4th

Happy Tuesday! Here's a little 4th of July card I made last night with the Take a Number wheel. I really do like this wheel, there's a lot you can do with it. I used my Scor-Pal but somehow missed the center of the card (it's great, but it doesn't physically pick up your hand and put it on the right line, so there can still be "user error" with it!), so I just left it as a lop-sided card and added a little red Summer Picnic DSP to the inside. I like the way it turned out, one of those happy accidents!

Oh, Stampin' Up! just made a big new product announcement today: they will be offering a line called Decor Elements featuring vinyl elements you can apply to your home walls. Sounds interesting, I've seen it in magazines a lot lately. I don't know many details yet, there will be more info tomorrow, so I'll keep ya posted.

One quick question: where do you keep the butter in your house? My husband has apparently decided to start keeping it here:

Hee! Hee! Cracked me up when I opened the cabinet to get my sinus meds this morning. I'm not surprised, this isn't the first time he's decided to store the butter outside of the frig, it's just usually in the pantry! He is the ultimate absent-minded professor, just not a professor though...

Thanks for stopping by! Have you stamped something today?

Recipe
Stamps: Take a Number wheel, Full Calendar.
Cardstock: Kraft, Summer Picnic DSP.
Ink: Night of Navy ink cartridge & classic pad.
Accessories: Real Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Aquapainters, metal-rimmed office supply sotre tag.

I haven't stamped anything today, but I love what you've stamped :-) That wheel is pretty versatile for birthdays, etc...never really thought about it before! I'll have to go check out the demo website to read about the new line!

Nice card, Angie! Oh, btw...I'm not really trying to be an enabler with the whole Unity Stamp thing, but they are pretty awesome!

You have me laughing here. I love the way you used the wheel with this card. We often get misplaced items too, usually not the butter though. LOL! At least he has it with spices.

I want the scor-pal that places my hand in the correct spot. LOL! I've been there and done that.

I am SOOOO Super excited about the big announcement and can barely wait til tomorrow to see it.

Cutie patootie 4th of July card! I love it!!!

My husband has a problem of getting things INTO the trash can. That's his absentmindedness.
