Scrapbook Sunday #16: Maya

Is this a beautiful little girl or what?! This Maya, the daughter of my fabulous friend and downline Asha (you may remember her from the Thunder Down Under page!). She sent me this birth announcement (isn't it the cutest with the pink polka dots with brown?!) earlier this year, and I finally took the time to scrap it. I blurred out the info and asked her permission to post it, I thought it just turned out so cute.

The page layout was inspired by an 8 1/2 x 11 page by Traci Turchin that is in the Designing with Calendar 2008. It's on Friday, September 19 if you have it and want to look. I decided to try and use some ideas from the 5,000 scrapbooking magazines and books that I have! lol!
