Office Accoutrement Retiring & a Publication Toot!

I've been a blog slacker lately, so sorry! I've just had so many social engagements! lol! DH asked if I needed the car Thursday (we share and carpool during school), and I said, "Heavens no! I've been out two days in a row and I'm exhausted!" lol!

I just *cranked out* this card as quickly as I could with one of my all-time favorite sets, Office Accoutrement! I really am boo-hooing over the retirement of this one! I used it for a lot of my Artisan Award projects last year, so I've always considered it my lucky charm! It will definitely be staying with me.

For the design, I used Laura's Sketch 3 from the 2 Sketches 4 You blog. I know I've told you before, but y'all definitely need to participate in this one! They have great prizes...I can't wait to get my Sakura Metallic pens from last week! Go check it out!

What is this next picture you ask?

This little project has also kept me busy...a stamping friend decided she didn't want her Clip It Up, so she gave me a good deal on it! The Upper Tier rack that goes with it is on my birthday wish list, if I can wait and not order it myself sooner! lol! If you google it, you'll see different websites that carry it and different sales prices (I had been looking!). The best deal I saw recently was from this quilting website, but I haven't checked in a few days.

My other big news you may have noticed from the title: I have a publication toot! I submitted a few things to Paper Crafts magazine last week and they picked up one of the cards to be published in the January/February issue! I had three cards published in Take Ten magazine several years ago, so I had kind of checked that off my "to do list" and moved on, but decided that submitting cards to Paper Crafts would be one of my summer projects.

Now, the next project...painting the living room, dining room, and hallway. I'm getting sore just thinking about it! lol! And it's going to be tough to get started as my new Stampin' Up! fall catalog sneak peek pre-order is arriving Thursday! Whoo! Hoo! That means new samples arriving soon!

Oh no, the dog is puking. Guess that's my cue to go. Talk about a crash from that last Whoo! Hoo! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have you stamped something today?

1. You crack me up! We have a cat that pukes here, so I know your reaction.
2. Congratulations on your pubbie!
3. No way! You got a Clip It Up? Is your friend nuts to not like it?
4. Wish I had submitted my order earlier in the day so I could have it NOW!
5. I hate painting, but I refused to have white walls in my new house, so I had to paint them all a different color. Funny thing is, I couldn't decide on what fabulous paint job to give my craft room so it's...white! Have fun (snirk).

Congratulations on your publication! You do have a way with this office accoutrement set. It's gorgeous! I was sad to see this set retire too. I haven't really used it as much as I would have liked.

Angie,
Congratulations on the publication! That is so exciting.

Great score on the clip it up organizer. I got one a few months ago and LOVE it. I want to order the upper level as well, but haven't found any great prices on them. Let me know if you find a killer deal! You are such an enabler!

Thanks for sharing.

Too too funny on your "62" and my "65" cards. This is GREAT! :) Oh, I LOVE your Clip It Up too. I saw it at Archivers and guess where my next coupon is going towards :)

I have the same projects too, painting. I actually bought the paints already but they're just sitting there. I need to paint though... I really do! Ahh...

Too funny... great exit lady... hope the dog's ok. My cocker use to puke all the time :)

Have a happy 4th!!!
