Happy Star

Happy Monday...it's early Monday at 12:30 a.m., but since I have the folks' computer up and running (very sloooooowwwwwlllllyyyyyy!), I thought I would go ahead and post this! The vacation is off to a great start, had the best time seeing my niece and nephews, in-laws, and grandparents. I also enjoyed a dangerous trip to Archiver's, oh my! Why can't Dallas get these stores?!

This card uses the lovely new Pink Pirouette In-Color, it's oh so soft and pretty! I had punched a large star out of this floral Bella Rosa paper and then noticed how nice the negative/background piece looked, so I glued some brown polka dot paper behind it and saved it to use later. (It's probably hard to see, it looks like a brown star is glued on top, but it isn't.) Anyway, I picked it up Friday night and threw this simple little card together. These library clips from an old mini catalog MUST make it into the new Fall-Winter 2008 Calendar! (I've heard little rumors they will be...I hope it's true!) While I'm on that track, this brown poly twill ribbon better make it too! lol!

Hope you have a great day! I've got more fun stuff to post later, including a wonderful surprise my Mom gave me, it's to die for!! Thanks for stopping by! Have you stamped something today?

Recipe
Stamps: Occasions Collection
Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Bella Rosa DSP.
Ink: Staz-On Brown.

Hi Angie. Glad you're having a nice vacation. This is a beautiful blend of colors and I love how you used the "cut out" star. Have a great day. PS ~ Why wish Archievers on us? It'll just be another place to spend yet more money? (((smile)))
