Patriotic June Stamp Club

Happy Saturday! I guess I was feeling very patriotic this month so all the June Stamp Club projects turned out patriotic! I was trying to get the old-fashioned look with this card (I couldn't resist adding an antique button, I've collected jars full of them), and I'll show the members how to make a paper ribbon:

I love using brown paper lunch sacks, and I had this idea as I was falling asleep one night. I wanted to put a "star on a stick" (it's a bamboo skewer), and I thought it would be cute poking through a gift bag as a decoration. It would really be cute to decorate them differently and make a "bouquet" of stars for a centerpiece too. I used the SU arrow punch for the edge on the top of the bag, just punched it, then folded it down.

Lastly, I was trying to find a way to incorporate the sneak peek set Fresh Cuts since it's on special this month, but I wanted it to fit the patriotic theme, so this is what I came up with. I didn't actually use the Fresh Cuts stamp set, but did use the die-cut notecards at least!

If you have questions about any of the projects, just email me or ask in the comments and I'll get back to you! Thanks so much for stopping by!

These are so cute! I think I might try to change it somehow to a maple leaf! Thank you again for the album directions, this will keep some kids busy until the end of school next week. I am interested in how your change goes from the classroom to LA. I am going the opposite way -- LA room to Gr 1 --I am so excited -- I love teaching grade 1! Please keep us updated on your blog -- I read the school things with interest.
