Winter Post: Kazan's Sketch 10

Happy Wednesday! Good news: Tuesday turned out to be a good day (even though it started with a 3rd grader throwing up all over herself and our group table at 8:10, blech!), so here's hoping Wednesday will be too! I took time last night to play with Kazan's Sketch 10 over at 2 Sketches 4 You. Be sure and check it out, it's a great sketch and the prizes are great too!

There is a *teeny* bit of contraband here...I wanted to use my new Treetops Cuttlebug Combo in my Big Shot...it's a die and an embossing folder...I bought at the crop the other night, plus I used some Making Memories oval tags. I liked the twist they added to the sketch...normally I'm one who follows the sketch exactly, so thought I would break out a little!

A few other goodies on the card...my favorite Top Note Big Shot die, of course, and some new Holiday Mini items that are available today: Winter Post stamp set, Little Felt Flurries snowflakes, Ski Slope DSP, and Season of Cheer Rub-Ons. Good stuff!

One school funny: A little boy in the hallway had some questions for me:
Little boy: "Do you speak Spanish?"
Me: "Si."
Little boy: "Really?"
Me: "Si."
Little boy: "A little or a lot?"
Me: "A lot."
Little boy, staring at me, not quite convinced: "How do you say 'captain' in Spanish?"
Me: "El Capitan."
Little boy: "Whoa!" and begins whispering to others "She speaks Spanish!"

Hopefully he won't ask me anything more difficult tomorrow! hee! hee!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Are you going to stamp something today?

Recipe
Stamps: Winter Post Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Old Olive, Whisper White, Ski Slope DSP. Ink: Staz-On Brown. Accessories: Little Felt Flurries, 5/8" Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Linen Thread, Little Felt Flurries, Vintage Silver Brads, Season of Cheer Rub-Ons, Corner Rounder, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Big Shot, Top Note Bigz Die; Cuttlebug Combo Treetops, Making Memories Oval Tags.

so sorry to hear about the throw up...I would've been next if I was sitting there...I have the weakest stomach...which is so unfair, as a mom I think I should get a much stronger one!
LOVE the things kids say! :)
