Upsy Daisy with Kazan's Sketch #12 and Splitcoast CC190

Happy Wednesday! I haven't played with any challenges from Splitcoast or 2 Sketches 4 You for awhile, so I decided to combine some last night to make a card. This Color Challenge #190 of Pixie Pink, Tangerine Tango, and Kiwi Kiss was tough! Did anyone else think so? I loved Kazan's Sketch #12, but I did leave off one layer. I started getting a bad headache and finally just gave up and left it like this! Then I had to go to bed without catching up on my Google Reader, ugh! I almost need to stay home from work today to catch up! lol!

I used Upsy Daisy...it's one set I don't think I've used enough. I have been obsessed with Mr. Twigster, as you know! For the scrolly part on the sketch, I used the Versamarker to draw a freehand scroll, then I covered it with Heat & Stick Powder and heat embossed it and finally covered it with Orange Glitter. The ribbon probably covers it up too much, but I just had to use the ribbon, no way around it!

Okay, guess I'll finish getting ready for school and will have to hit the Google Reader this evening, sigh. hee! hee! Hope you have a great day! Hugs and happy stamping!

Recipe
Stamps: Upsy Daisy.
Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Pixie Pink.
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Basic Black marker.
Accessories: Versamarker, Heat & Stick Powder, Heat Embossing Tool, Kiwi Kiss 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Border Scallop Punch, misc. pink button, Tang glitter by Art Institute, white thread, mini glue dot.
