Paper Roses...last Splitcoast World Card Making Day Challenge

Schwooo! I finished all 7 challenges before the deadline last night! This card was for my last one, paper flowers...but in my head it makes me sing Paper Roses. Ugh! Okay, looking up that video just got me side-tracked into looking at videos of Andy Gibb and Rex Smith. Man, how I used to love those boys! Do you remember this movie, Sooner or Later? Remember this dreamy scene?! Ahhh, brings back the memories...and I realize I am severely dating myself here! Hmmm, I wonder if this album is still at my mom's house...if not, I bet my friend Donna has it in one of her tubs...

Okay, sorry for the detour. The official challenge was called Nested Flowers. Be sure and check out the gallery for these cards, they are really cool! This was my first attempt, but I'll definitely try again someday.

Hope your week is off to a great start! Thanks so much for stopping by!

p.s. If you're *old* enough to walk down memory lane with me on Rex Smith and Andy Gibb, please give me a shout out so I don't feel all alone! hee! hee!

Love the card! And yes the video - I am a huge fan of musicals. I watched that movie over and over and had the album. Would love to find the movie again for my daughter to watch. Sure brought back lots of memories. In fact, I dated a bass player who looked a lot like Rex Smith except his hair was mousy brown.

I DID have a Marie Osmond Paper Roses album that someone gave me for Christmas! Haaaaa I wonder what happened to that thing?

And I remember a t-shirt I had with Andy Gibb on it, in all his hairy chested glory! :-O
