School's out for summer! That means blog candy for you! Thank you so much for checking out my blog and putting up with my sporadic posts during the school year, I really appreciate it!! Just leave a comment to be entered...feel free to share any end of school year memories you have, or not, either way, no worries! As much as I countdown to the end of school every year and go on and on about how excited I am, when it actually happens, I'm always a little sad and mopey. But probably a long, Friday night nap, followed by stamping will help cure that!
I'll draw a winner Monday night at midnight and mail out the goodies on Tuesday!
Thanks again for visiting! Hugs and happy stamping!

Last day for my boys was today! This year went so fast, and now we'll have a son in grade 11 and grade 8!!! Wow!
I had a great school year...really loved my freshmen and was sad to see them go!
Ive always loved your Blog and everything that you share about the the school year. Thanks for always being so open and honest. much love, Alyssa B
Yay! Glad you're out for the summer. I've been out for a week but am teaching summer school for 2 weeks. I had a crazy school year but was sad to see my 8th graders go (kind of).
love your site and reading about your teaching. enjoy your summer. i can't wait for my grandsons to be done so i can spend time with them
I love your blog and it's sweet of you to offer blog candy. I really enjoy your cards and other creations, always very fresh and creative!!! I think it is amazing that you are able to be a teacher and accomplish all that you post here. Thanks to you for all you do!!
have a wonderful summer off!
I think I love the last day of students more now than when I was in school. The only problem is that when you walk out of that door, before you know it you will be walking back in! In the meantime, make lots of memories to take back with you.
We still have another month before school's out. The weather definitely isn't in the summer mood, so it's hard to feel summery.
here's to the end of the year!! thank you so much for your inspiration - i love to check in and see what you have created!!
We are out of school as of yesterday!!! I love your blog...I check it everyday and love love your inspirations!!!
Here's to summer! Cheers!!
Thanks for giving up some candy! Glad you're out for the summer.
We have 2 weeks left of school here & it means that I have 2 weeks left to prepare a summer's worth of "homework" and projects for the kids. I have a daughter that loves school so much that she wants to learn all summer too. Looks like I might be able to prepare a crafty project for her if I win your blog candy!! Thanks for sharing.
Wow...what a sweet bunch of blog candy! I love stopping by your blog for my daily dose of inspiration! :))

Yay for the last day of school! Our last day was Friday. Now it's time to get started on lesson plans for next year!
I always loved school so the end of the school year was sad but I loved summer vacation more.
Enjoy your summer!
Yippee! Candy! ;) My favorite end of school memory this year is my son saying, "I want to go to school this Saturday because I already miss school and want to spend as much time there before the end of the year." His last day is next Thursday. Go figure! :)
You almost HAVE to scream those lyrics to the song, don't you?! Thanx for the inspiration and blog candy opp! We're not out yet - my son's last day is next Thursday ... but I'm looking forward to summer time field trips!
School's only out for one week in my household as my son will start summer school to complete his final requirement for Sac State here in CA. It has been a tough year with lots of essays and proofing on my part. I'm also the Cheerleader so I'm worn out! I'd love to win some blog candy to lift this Mom's spirits!
Enjoy your time off and extra stamping time!
I just remember being so excited for summer and always hearing the Alice Cooper song, "School's Out". It's a classic. I don't think I ever had any big plans for summer but there's nothing like that excitement when you're a kid!
isn't nappin' and craftin' the cure for everything? seriously...
How do I feel about school being out????? I'm a grandma so that means more time for ME!
Thanks for the opportunity of winning
Angie-
Love your blog, your creativity and stories about the kids! I've got two weeks before i'm out for the summer. Looking forward to the down time with my boys and a little more stamping!
Enjoy your summer vacation~
:)
You will have so much stamping time you won't know what to do.
I volunteer working on scrapbooks with special needs children. We have been working fast and furious to complete our books so that they can be sent home this Thursday.
Papercrafting helps with motor skills, dexterity and is just plain fun for the kids.
I think my favorite school memory is from my English classes in college. I have always loved my English classes (English as a second language, I should add) and I didn't have the chance to have English Immersion in my small hometown. I always wanted to learn more and then when I got to college, I got the most fabulous English teacher ever! He was funny, interesting, relevent. I remember during the poetry segment of the class, we read some Sting, Leonard Cohen, Pink Floyd and Tori Amos lyrics and went over their hidden meanings, which was so fun! He recognized that I was a great writer and I felt very validated as a student with him. I was really happy to see him again at my graduation and show him how much my spoken English had improved now that I was living in Ottawa! Teachers can leave a big mark on us. You have a very powerful job! It's nice to see how much you care for the kids you teach, as well.
I hope you have a fabulous summer vacation! Enjoy!
Cindy
