Kazan's Sketch #17: Loop to Loop Rub-Ons

Happy Thursday! I took some time the other night to play with Kazan's Sketch #17 over at 2 Sketches 4 You, I always look forward to those! My take on it with the circles is nothing original, but I thought it would work for the sketch and give me the chance to do a little sewing with my new Janome Mini, love that thing!

I played with my new Loop to Loop Rub-Ons that are included in the new Hostess Level 3 Hand Drawn Bundle, they are so stinkin' cute! Just realized this card has no stamping, oops! That's the beauty of rub-ons! I also used the Sweet Always Designer Series Paper. I was afraid it might be discontinued, but it wasn't, yay! It goes with the popular Always stamp set, so I guess that's why they kept it around.

Did anyone catch the new season of Damages that started on FX last night? I loved that show in its first season, got hooked on it during an all-day marathon type thing. It's just a glorified soap opera, but ya know, we need our "mindless" down time, right?! Plus, this season Timothy Olyphant has joined the cast. I seriously heart him! You might remember him from Catch and Release, but here's a little eye candy to jog your memory...and start your day off in a happy way! hee! hee!

I liked him best as Seth Bullock, the rough and tough sheriff on Deadwood, though...I'm a sucker for the unshaven, lol!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

I lost my last comment, so I'm trying again:

Love your card and that set! I'm hoping for more time soon to use it!

Let's talk Deadwood! You know I live right near there, don't you? We watched that show religiously with the stereo sound blasting and the TV on closed captioning so we could read what the heck Al was saying half the time. I really miss that show, it was great! The only reason we would get HBO when it was on each year. Oh, and yes, we still talk like that (not really, but sometimes!).

So cute. Good for you for busting that rub-on package open. I'm afraid I'm going to hoard them.

My favorite Timothy Olyphant movie is Hitman. I absolutely LOVE that movie (and no, I don't play the video games; I'm more into RPGs).

Love the card, too! :D

I always confuse him and Josh Duhamel from Win a Date with Todd Hamilton, who is also super fun to look at. Timothy also made an excellent looking bad guy in Live Free or Die Hard... One of my favorite action movies from the last year. I love it when stuff blows up and cute guys run around.

I forgot to leave a comment earlier...this is AWESOME! I love circles. The sewing on top is a fabulous detail.

I've seen a few episodes of season 1 of Damages. Wow, Glenn Close is great. We need to see the whole season. We're so behind on the shows TiVo records for us. We barely watched a CSI from early December.
