Hanging Teacher Picture Frames

Happy Monday and Happy 18th Anniversary to DH and me! Hope everyone had a good weekend! It went by so fast, as always, and I didn't get near as much done as I'd hoped to, grrrr! lol!

Above are some projects that I did get finished...some hanging picture frames for the craft fair. I made these with a "teacher" theme since I know a lot of people buy little teacher gifts at Christmas time. And, if they don't sell, I can give them as gifts to fellow teachers. hee! hee! Below shows one with a picture attached:

These were very simple to make. I cut the chipboard to 5 1/2" x 7" and used a Stampin' Up! gluestick to glue the patterned paper on the front and back. (For the back I used a coordinating print, like plaid or polka dot.) The glue stick works really well for this project, because once it dries, it makes it feel very thick and sturdy.

I threaded the buttons and glued them onto 3/4" magnets (my package of 50 says Magnetic 3/4" Buttons by ProMag Dyna-Mite). One magnetic button is on top and the mate is on the back side. I punched two holes at the top with the Crop-a-Dile, then fashioned the metal hanger out of 14 guage galvanized wire (a package of 100 feet was like $3.50 from Wal-Mart). The wire bends very easily, and I used wire cutters to cut it.

Here are photos (not the best photos, sorry!) of some of the others. I just used paper and coordinating accessories from my stash.

If you have any questions, please let me know! I'm running a little late this morning, so better skedaddle! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!
