Laura's Sketch #45: Fox & Friends

Happy Friday! Or should I say happy snow day Friday! It feels great today, but I'm sure I'll wish it wasn't so when we have to make it up on Good Friday now. A new snow record in Dallas, isn't that crazy! It was really fun watching all the people out playing in it last night, kids and adults both. I played plenty growing up with it in Missouri, so I stay snuggled up inside with my Bailey's and hot chocolate! hee! hee! As of this morning, we had lost two big tree branches that were blocking the street. The ones in back are hanging perilously close to the power lines, but so far, so good...we're keeping our fingers crossed.

Now on to the card, so nice having time to play with Laura's Sketch #45 today! I used all Stampin' Up! goodies, mostly from the new Spring Occasions Mini and the Sale-a-Bration Mini. I also used the wood sheets, this sketch seemed perfect for a tree with a hole in it, and Cath at Paper Crafts had mentioned the wood grain is still one of the top trends right now. I tried making the scallops on the left smaller at first, but then the super cute clouds didn't show up, so I free-hand cut some bigger scallops and glued it down over the first piece.

Okay, guess I'll sign off. I offered to make dh dinner tonight...breakfast for dinner, yummmm! It's my once a month dinner offering, hee! hee! The things we do for love...

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!
