Splitcoast Color Challenge #153

Well, better late than never (I say that a LOT lately!)...here is last week's Color Challenge #153...kraft, tempting turquoise, and green galore. Not an easy combo! Not my best work! lol! This was the first card I made at our get-together last Saturday, so I was still warming up, you know. (Are you buying this pathetic excuse?!) At first, I only had the "medallion" at the left and the "friend" greeting, and it was a little too plain, I thought, even for me, so I added the polka dots afterwards. I'm not sure they helped! I do love the new stamp set, though, called "Friendly Flowers" that will be available in the new SU Occasions Mini Catalog on March 1.

Here are the cards from the girls. I think they did a great job, even though they found this color combo a little challenging too! Now that I'm getting "buried" in my week of work and stress, this reminds me of how much fun I had Saturday night, so thanks, girls! I love ya! I have more of our "challenge cards" coming, so stay tuned! ;-)

I think you did a great job. Cute little touch of bling.

You rocked this color challenge! I only attempted 1 card with it, and you have 4!

I love friendly flowers card. I still have no idea what to do with the set. Maybe I'll play later.
