CAS-ual Fridays Stamps: Oh My Stars!

Happy Saturday!

I'm up today on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog and hope you like the Oh My Stars card!

I'm seeing stars again...can't stop using this Twinkle stamp set 

and Stars and Fun-Fetti Fri-Dies. 

I love the way this embossed sentiment turned out, even if it was a bit of a happy accident!

I used Frost White All-Purpose Ink for Fantast/x by Tsukineko, applying it with a paint brush over the patterned paper. I hurried the drying along with a heat gun. It felt pretty dry to the touch, so I stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink, then poured the silver embossing powder over it. I thought a "little" powder might stick to the ink in places if it wasn't completely dry. Uhhh, a lot of powder stuck all over! lol! 

So I decided to use a dry paint brush to kind of sweep the embossing powder off randomly in places. I left some to frame the letters, trying for a random look, which is not easy for me, non-random girl! Anyway, I like the way it turned out. Who knew?!
