Freshly Made Sketches #29: You Inspire Me

Happy Saturday! Hope you are enjoying your Easter weekend!

I fiddled around a little bit in the stamp room this afternoon playing with my new Summer Smooches goodies and the Freshly Made Sketch #29. To make the flower, I just cut a strip of paper and folded randomly, gathering into a circle, then stitching the button through all the layers. Working with brights is a challenge for me sometimes, so still not sure about this! ha!

Off to see a movie with friends, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. I do love some Ewan McGregor! *smile*

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Recipe
Stamps: Bright Blossoms, Perfect Words.
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, SommerParty & Twitterpated DSP.
Ink: Island Indigo, Old Olive.
Accessories: Daffodil Delight button, Twitterpated fabric, Island Indigo brad and twine.

Well I love it too ! No worries about the bright colors at all! I love how you combine things - and that folded paper flower?? Wonderful! Your details are always so neat - like the sideways snipped out flower stems :)

You did such a lovely job with the bright colors. I love the idea for the flower. I need to give that a try.
