Whoo-la-la!
Happy Wednesday night! I blew off my school work (again, yikes!) and napped and then made this card for two challenges...Ashley Newell's fabulous Embellish Magazine challenge to use the above colors and and owl and the Everything but the Kitchen Sink challenge to use toilet paper! I like the toilet paper ruffle, but I just wonder who I can send this card to who won't think "Is that toilet paper on this card?!!" lol! Probably my grandparents, they love me no matter what! lol!
Okay, it's very late, I better get to bed. I'm counting down...2 weeks and 2 days until Thanksgiving Break. Ahhh, the hope of sweet relief! I swear, the hardest part of the teaching year (I reserve the right to change my mind later!) is from the Labor Day Holiday to the Thanksgiving Holiday...that is a LONG time with no breaks or days off in the teaching world!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!
Recipe Stamps: Owl Together Now Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Pink Flamingo & Tall Tales DSP. Ink: Staz-On Brown; Cameo Coral & Chocolate Chip markers. Accessories: Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon & Designer Button, Linen Thread, 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, toilet paper.

OMG! Toilet paper for cards...wow, great idea Angie! the card is perfect!
Awesome card, and take on both challenges. Thanks for participating on the EBTKS challenge!
I think that the toilet paper is hysterical. What will you think of next? You must be teaching in the wrong area. It seems like my kids have only had a couple of full weeks of school so far this fall. Day off Tuesday this week....day off next week....then an actual full week of school & then short week for Thanksgiving.
Toilet paper ruffles?!? That has GOT to be a first!! hahaha! I've seen it used for stamp casting before, but never for anything else. What a challenge!
The card turned out so very cute! Love the color combo as well!
Cindy :)
I've made a card with Toilet paper before, not ruffles though, I tried the casting. I think it's adorable and I love the color combo. I always thought the worst part was from Spring Break to Memorial Day. There never seem to be enough spring holidays to take off, but I've been out of my classroom for almost 7 years now.
Hey you can send it to me! And you know green is really in. They may appreciate your use of a degradable product! Thanks for playing!
What a wonderful card. The toilet paper ruffle is FABULOUS!
Toilet paper on a card? Whoever would think of such an idea? Well I guess it is resourceful and frankly, you really pulled it off - the ruffle looks great! Hang in there - Thanksgiving Break will be here before you know it!
Heehee! I LOVE that you played along with our toilet paper challenge! It's so cute! You can send it to me, and I won't make fun of you for it! :D
