Featured Stamper #105: All Holiday
Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a good weekend! I worked on a lot of school stuff and now I can't believe the weekend is over, ugh!
I did get a chance to make this card on Sunday for the Featured Stamper Challenge #105 over at Splitcoast. This week the featured stamper is Karen Dunbrook and you can see the card that I cased here. I was very excited to see the puzzle pieces she used, because I have a package of them I received at a crop and had never used them.
I changed the colors and instead of using the paint chip, I pulled out some pattern paper scraps and used them. I also raised my puzzle pieces and added some ribbon, mostly because I didn't print out a picture of her card, and I was too lazy to go back into the computer room and check it again! lol! Oh, and instead of stamping on the puzzle pieces like Karen did, I used my Big Shot and new Billboard alphabet die, I'm loving that thing!
This card is quite an accomplishment...it's for my niece Emma, whose birthday isn't until March! That blue floral patterned paper had the words "grow" and "love" on it, so I thought it was perfect for her. Too bad I ended up cutting them off, doh! Now, my sister-in-law and mother-in-law have birthdays this weekend. Are their cards ready? Um, no! Guess I better check out some more challenges after work tonight and get on that!
Hope you have a super-duper Monday! Thanks so much for stopping by and for the kind comments you leave! Hugs and happy stamping!
