Billboard Alphabet: don't worry...be happy!

Happy weekend! I'm up way too late again, deciding to stamp something at 11:30 p.m.! What is wrong with me?! Well, we don't have enough time to go into that right now, hee! hee!

I teamed up two challenges for this card...a yellow and gray color challenge from the wonderful Cath at Moxie Fab World and a sketch challenge from the fabulous Nichole at Capture the Moment (I couldn't resist the chance to win all that yummy ribbon!!).

It was a wonderful opportunity to use some more of my new SU goodies! I received the level 1 hostess patterns paper pack which includes some Basic Gray, sigh, absolutely love it! I planned on using some So Saffron, but then I remembered the bright new Pink Flamingo DSP I got and that floral was just too perfect! It seemed so "happy" I had to make my own greeting using the Billboard die with my Big Shot. You know I love letters and can never resist them when they come out. (A tip: to get the apostrophe, I cut the top off of the "f".)

At first I had no ribbon and was using a new white library clip...those are awesome, by the way! But I decided it needed some ribbon and all I could find was this super wide white grosgrain that I had recycled from some type of packaging. So it's in keeping with the big bow trend right now, but there was no more room for the white library clip, will have to use it later. Can't remember where the white eyelets came from, but I liked their size.

Hope you are having a great weekend and staying healthy, there is a lot of sickness going around. Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

LOVE that paper. I can't remember if I ordered it or not. I guess I'll find out Thursday (I am too lazy to login to my demo site, ha!). Very striking... love the one bright color against the grays.
