Oh my word! It's only Thursday?! Can I make it until Friday?! =)Here's another display card for the SU Leadership Conference. I used the new Sell-a-Bration set Happy Moments. Y'all know I'm not a water-colorer, so this was a stretch for me! lol!Okay, off in search of major caffeine...! Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Wednesday! We've made it to hump day! How can I be so ready for Friday already?! Anybody else with me?!This little card (4 1/4" x 4 1/4") is one of my display samples for the SU Leadership Conference, and it's made with one of the new Stampin' Up! Sell-a-Bration sets called Vintage Label. It's a great set of frame stamps, and this one works perfectly with the Curly Label punch. I twisted some linen thread around a mini brad to make a little flower, pretty simple. I got this color combo from a list of SU recommendations, and I loved it!That's it for now...in desperate need of coffee! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping! Happy Tuesday! I survived back-to-school Monday, although I did have to take a 2 hour nap when I got home! lol!I really hoped to "stamp" last night, but that didn't happen, so here's another "scrappy" card from the crop Saturday. I used some Sassafrass Lass goodies (that I've been known to hoard) and some super yumm-o ribbon. I think tomorrow starts the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference and then I'll be able to share a lot of samples I made for the display boards using new Occasions Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration goodies!Gotta run, set my alarm wrong...Freudian, perhaps?...luckily dh caught it with just a 15 minute oversleep! Oops! Have a great Tuesday! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!RecipeCardstock: SU Basic Black.
Accessories: Sassafrass Lass sticker and chipboard letters; May Arts ribbon.
Happy Monday! It's another "hi!" card! This is the second card I made at the crop Saturday. I seemed to be in the mood for "hi"!This is a quicky post as I need to get off to school, sigh. I am NOT ready! lol! My plans took longer than I expected Sunday, but I made it through about half of my Google reader. I got so behind being away from a computer for a week! Hopefully I'll catch up tonight, plus, I'm still going through a huge pile of mail and I have some GORGEOUS craks I'll need to share soon! Love you girls for thinking of me! *wink*Have a super Monday! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!RecipeCardstock: SU Tempting Turquoise and Dusty Durango.

Hi peeps! Hope your New Year is off to a great start! We arrived back in Texas safe and sound Friday night and I headed to an all-day crop at The Crafty Scrapper on Saturday! Fun! I didn't make it all day, of course, arrived around 3:00, but still had a great time hanging with the girls! My goal was to make 8 cards and I made it, just barely! lol! This paper came from a little 6x6 pad by Nikki Sivils. I wasn't familiar with this brand, but it was really cute paper! The little chipboard bird and pieces are from Crate Paper that I picked up at Archiver's in Kansas City. Oh my, my sister-in-law and I had FUN there! Okay, off to work on lesson plans, materials, grading,...all that back-t0-school stuff I put off until the very last day of vacation! lol! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!RecipeCardstock: Confetti Cream by SU, Victoria's Secret patterned paper by Nikki Sivils.
Accessories: Crate Paper chipboard, Basic Grey Chipboard letters, SU Dimensionals.
Merry Christmas Eve! Hope you are enjoying your holiday! I squeezed in one little card today using some Santa goodies from My Mind's Eye. The card base is Stampin' Up! Soft Suede, it is fast becoming one of my all-time favorites. Finally the Kraft has some competition! lol!Okay, off to watch It's A Wonderful Life (again, it's my all-time favorite movie!) and have some Christmas Eve Chili (improvised since our travel plans had to be rescheduled & I only cook about 3 dishes!) I hope you have a wonderful holiday! Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I feel blessed to have so many friends out there in the cyber world, thanks for all the love! Schwooo! I barely made it for the Moxie Fab All Creatures Great & Small Challenge! I had several ideas and couldn't commit, hence the two cards. I had great fun making these while watching Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Meet Me In St. Louis. Love those classics! How are your holiday preparations coming along?! I got a lot knocked out today, but a few more things to buy, everything to wrap, and sweets to bake. Yummmm! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!
Happy Sunday! I know some of you lucky peeps have snow right now, but not us in Texas! It's taking me a little while to unwind and start getting creative since school let out Friday, but I think I'm feeling it now! lol! I loved the colors in the challenge for Embellish Magazine this week, so yummy! As I just went back to link up, I noticed the challenge was also to use snowflakes...well, I got lucky there because I hadn't read that little detail in the fine print, but just happily happened to use a snowflake! Schwooo! I guess it was meant to be! I also used the FTL 71 from the Clean & Simple blog. I love their sketches and cards! Are you all ready for the holidays?! I'm afraid I'm not quite there yet, but I don't seem to be doing anything about it either, yikes! Wish me luck this week! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!RecipeCardstock: SU Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry; October Afternoon Report card check papaer.

Howdy peeps! Long time, no see! For those of you still checking in, thanks for hanging with me! Between trying to keep things under control at school (keeping students busy and engaged while they are about to burst with excitement over Christmas!), plus being sick, things have been crazy! Two and a half days, two and a half days, two and a half days, lol!
We had our school Christmas show tonight and I got home late, but it's the first time I've felt up to stamping for a week, so I decided to go for it with this quick card for Laura's Sketch #41 over at 2 Sketches 4 You. I had to go super simple this time with scraps I had laying on my table, but I still like it. I've been eyeing this yummy tree stamp for awhile, and I finally got it a couple of weeks ago, so cute! Okay, off to bed, but thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you are all doing well out there! Hugs and happy stamping!

Happy Wednesday! Hope everyone is having a great week! The back to school week has gone very well...maybe it's knowing there's only 3 weeks until 2 weeks of Christmas vacation! lol! Actually, it's down to 12 school days left now, hard to believe! After a little nap earlier, I decided to make a card for Laura's Sketch 40, even though I should have been doing some other stuff. Oh well! I broke into some new goodies from My Mind's Eye, yummm! (Yes, I copied the same ribbon treatment as my last card, I liked it! lol!)
Keeping it short and sweet, better get to bed...for the sake of the children tomorrow! lol! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!
