CFC96: Funny Bunny!
It's CAS-ual Fridays time!
This week we have CFC#96: Funny Bunny!
Since Easter and April Fool's Day fall back to back this year, Michele thought it would be fun to do Easter projects with a twist...create a CAS Easter project, but it can't be a card!
Ready to go outside your comfort zone?!
I used a kraft box I bought from Pick Your Plum back before Christmas.
I added the SU Chocolate Bunny stamp (retired), along with some newsprint paper that I cut into a narrow strip, stitched down the middle, then cut along both edges with my Martha Stewart fringe scissors. Love those things! Just finished it off with a little fabric ribbon and flag, and voila! A Funny Bunny project!
I hope you'll play along!
This week's sponsor, Timeless Twine, is providing a fabby prize package to the winner!
Head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays blog to see the fabulous projects from the other Girl Fridays and link up your Funny Bunny project!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Happy Easter Bunny
Popping in with a quick Happy Easter share! A friend at work asked me make her a few Easter cards, so this is what I whipped up.
Your reaction might be like my dh's:
Me: What do you think?
DH: They are certainly busy.
Me: She doesn't like CAS. She likes busy.
DH: Well then she's going to love them.
And he was right! She did! Hehe! Then she asked me what I did with "all the money" I make selling cards. Ummm, buy more stuff to make cards. Am I right?!
The second one is pretty bright, just warning ya! :)
Hope your week is going well! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Happy Day!
I'm back with another 3-D project using the fabulous SRM Stickers! I used a box I got from Pick Your Plum back before Christmas, plus the Maya Roads zipper flower I showed you from spring break. You still have time to play along with CAS-ual Fridays #95: No Stamps challenge!

Hello Sunshine {10}
I'm back with another "No Stamps" project! This contains a little surprise for my sweet niece who recently turned 10.
I used more of the fabulous goodies from SRM Stickers that were provided to the Girl Fridays for our CFC#95: No Stamps challenge! You still have time to play along! I used the clear pillow box (loved that thing!) and some shredded cardstock to hide the contents. I took a blank label (Labels by the Dozen) and attached it to a 2" plain chipboard circle, then ran it through the Big Shot with a Chevron embossing folder to give it some texture. Easy peasy and endless possibilities!
Hope you're having a great weekend! I can't believe much of the country is getting more snow, crazy! We had a few storms and a little rain, but now it's sunny and cool at 54 degrees. We haven't had to use any snow or ice days this year, so looks like we'll get off for Good Friday this week, yay! I hope you all are safe and warm!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

CFC95: No Stamps!
It's CAS-ual Fridays time!
Are you ready to...gasp...make a card without stamps?!
Join us for CFC#95: No Stamps...create a project without using stamps!
Get out your stickers, punches, dies, patterned paper, etc, just no stamps!
The Girl Fridays were lucky enough to receive a great package full of assorted stickers from this week's sponsor, SRM Stickers, and this week's winner of the challenge will win the same awesome package!
I could not stop making projects with these fun and versatile stickers, so I'll have more to show you as the week goes by! For the card I'm showing today, I used the sweet yellow flower sticker applied to white cardstock, then topped it on a white tissue paper flower I made with a die and my Big Shot. I also used a fun black label sticker and a "Thank You" sticker on bright yellow cardstock. So cheery!
Be sure and check out the projects from the rest of the Girl Fridays, there's some serious eye candy this week! Then get creative...without stamps...and play along with us!
Can't wait to see what you create!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Woo Hoo!
Happy Monday! The students and I survived our first day back from Spring Break! Schwooo! I'm thinking I should already be in bed tonight, however, doh! It's hard to get back on the *day* schedule after a week on the *night* schedule! :)
Here's a quick share of a card I made over the break using that popular chalkboard technique. This is my first attempt, it's a pretty simple card. The Woo Hoo stamp from Stampin' Up! makes the technique pretty easy! I finished it off with some recycled ribbon (from pajama bottoms, I think!) and I'm linking it up for The Friday Mashup #101!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Birthday Girl
Happy Sunday night! It's the end of Spring Break 2013, sniff, sniff!
Here's the 2nd card I made at my fun, paper-crafting Friday at the Crafty Scrapper! I made it for my niece's 10th birthday. I think the one big ink spot represents a tear since I couldn't spend her birthday with her. She already received some presents from Amazon, but I like to try and send a personalized birthday card, plus I have a couple more goodies for her! *wink*
I used the great sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #19. I'm not sure mine exactly qualifies for CAS since I do have a few layers, but I still like the way it turned out. Now to just get it in the mail!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

A Twirly-Whirly Birthday!
Happy Saturday! I went to a crop for 10 hours yesterday and this is the first card I made, yay! I got to play along with the Play Date Cafe Challenge #173. I used my new Stampin' Up! Wishes Your Way set and Pinwheel Sizzlits Die. That die is only $4.95, a great value! I am determined to make more birthday cards, since that's what I always seem to need, that's what people ask to buy from me, and that's what I never have! lol!
Did I mention this is one of the two cards I completed in 10 hours yesterday?! Doh! But it was still a successful day because it included a zipper flower, coffee, an estate sale, margaritas, and shopping, not necessarily in that order! *wink*
Here's my Maya Roads zipper flower, that was a pain in the a** to make, but now that I know how, I hope the second one is easier (tutorial):
Here's Lori's zipper flower, which is much cuter because she had to be a creative genius that added the shredded tulle ribbon to hers:
Which inspired me to go back to the register...again...to buy this for my next attempt (I'm thinking Mother's Day!):
Lori also made this beautiful flower I thought I'd share. She worked HARD for this one, in that she had to wage war with a die cut machine to cut her canvas fabric, but she was the victor:
Lastly, here is my big estate sale purchase. Estate sales kind of freak me out, but I did manage to buy these tin cups, which may end up in Lisa Pace style ornaments. Actually, Lori bought them for me because I didn't have any cash! ha! Lori scored the better tin cups and other items, because she is an estate sale Ninja.
Okay, time to go face the reality of unpacking all the crop bags! hehe! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

CFC#94: Chipboard!
It's CAS-ual Fridays time! Are you ready to play along!
This week we have CFC#94: Chipboard...use chipboard in your CAS creation!
Easy peasy, right?
I admit...I have a LOT of chipboard I've accumulated over the years, but I decided to go with the very simple, plain, aka "free" chipboard for my card. I always save plain chipboard that comes in packaging, the backs of legal pads, etc.
I have a nephew with a birthday in a week, so I thought this would make a great 'guy' card for him. Still reeling that I had to put a "17" on there, and in fact, actually put a 16 first, sigh. To create my row of numbers, I used my Big Shot and the Cuttlebug Reg Tag Sale die. The stamped sentiment is from the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Woot Woot set.
Are you ready to get out your chipboard and play along?
This week's prize is a $20 gift certificate from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, yay!
I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

CFC#93: Color Blocks
It's CAS-ual Fridays time!
Are you ready to play along with this week's challenge?
It's CFC#93: Color Blocks...incorporate blocks of color into your CAS project!
How fun and so many possibilities!
I paired up some sentiments from the Jibber Jabber set from Alley Way Stamps along with the cool arrow from the Rad stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. Does it have a flow chart feel? If not, just humor me, that's what I was going for! hehe!
I hope you'll play along for a chance to win the $25 gift certificate from Cutcardstock.com!
Don't miss all the beautiful cards from the other Girl Fridays too at the CAS-ual Fridays blog!
Everyone had such an original take on this challenge, it was a lot of fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs and happy stamping!
