Greetings, Earthling!

Happy Wednesday! It is Wednesday, right?!

I whipped up this little card while watching As The Word Turns (my summer secret!) using CPS Sketch 175 and SCS Color Challenge 279: Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi! Me likey new colors! And can you believe all the challenges I'm doing?! Just call me Amy, Jr.! hee! hee!

Actually, this card was also made for a more important reason than just reminding me how poor my watercoloring skills are, ugh! It was made for a little 11-year old boy Mark who was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma and is undergoing chemo. His Aunt Cookie posted a card on Splitcoast that she made for him, and then Marilyn started organizing a card drive here if you'd like to send Mark a card too. Cards and prayers, they go a long way!

Well, guess it's my time to hop on the treadmill (Yeah, I know! It's almost becoming a summer routine, who am I?!) then shower before dh gets home! Just one of those little things I do for him! ha! Actually, last night I made tuna casserole, steamed vegetables, and homemade banana bread for him...he had to go outside and check if he was in the right house!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

What a sweet card to RAK. I think he's going to love it. I also don't see any issue with your watercoloring skills. I think the image is fantastic!

It's probably good the ribbon was put away. I can't see how it can make it any cuter and appropriate for an 11-yr-old. What a great cause!!

Have you read the wife of the 1950 list? Just Google it but one is to shower before the husband comes home and have supper ready when he walks in the door. You're sounding like one :P

I did something more than usual, more cleaning and hubby said: Did you shower too? Have you been reading that list? I usually I shower at night but after all the cleaning I had to get the stinky off of me :P

Ok, so I started to write back to you the other night and my Internet went caput. I was so pissed because I had a few paragraphs. I haven't revisited it again... and oh, the book is right next to our bed. Drew just got done reading it again but no, I've never seen Greg what's his name in the To Kill movie. I might now since he's a cutie :P

This is such a sweet card! I'm sure Mark will love it.
We may be long lost sisters. The cooking and the working out are 2 of my least favourite things to do!LOL!

This card is sure to bring a smile to Mark's face! You have inspired me to dust off my dots embossing plate!

Thanks for pushing back toward my blog. I scheduled a few, and it felt good!
I am glad to hear you are keeping up your summer routine, it sounds like a healthy one {with some fun scattered in there, too!}
