Kazan's Sketch #20: sweet life

Happy Wednesday! (I just typed Thursday and had to go back and delete it, that tells you where my mind is!) I took a *teeny* nap (2 hours) earlier so decided to try and stamp a little something before bed. I'm a little rusty, so I looked for inspiration!

I used Kazan's fabulous Sketch #20 from 2S4Y as well as Kristina's Color Inspiration #42 for this sweet life card. With the layout and colors already decided on, there was hardly anything for me to do! hee! hee! When I saw the "scrolly" thing on Kazan's sketch I immediately thought of this pear from the new On Board So Tweet chipboard for some reason, so I went with that.

I usually suck at keeping up at blog awards and tags, but I'm trying to be better, because I really do appreciate people thinking of me. So thank you to Juanita at Rubber Side Down, whose become a great blog friend, for thinking of me for the Best Blog Comments Award!

Okay, better get to bed. A cold front is coming and I'm scared it may be too cold for the kids to go to recess tomorrow morning. That does not bode well for the day! lol! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Recipe
Stamps: Happy Everything.
Cardstock: Really Rust, More Mustard, Kiwi Kiss, SAB Delicate Dots, DSP, Good Morning Sunshine DSP, some retired rust DSP.
Ink: Chocolate Chip.
Accessories: On Board So Tweet Chipboard, Kiwi Kiss Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Kiwi Kiss Corduray Brad, Billboard Alphabet Decorative Strip die, Big Shot, Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals.

wow Angie this is a stunner! Your work is so gorgeous so the Award you received is totally expected! I had to laugh about your recess comment - I used to work for an Elementary school and snow school days were NOT fun for us. Hope today was a good one for you

This card is amazing! I really love the colors and the layout together. I did the same but used the SCS color combo on mine. LOL! The pear is fantastic. I want that chipboard. This week has flown by here and not in a good way either. Off to look and see what else you've been up to.

Oh gosh, I'm such a ding dong- I just left you the same award that Juanita did! Well, you deserve it for sure!

Love this card, by the way! The CAS layout is very easy on the eye. I really like how you added the extra little tag for the rest of the sentiment and the button too! Neat all around!
