GSG Limited Supply Challenge: Again...Monochromatic Mayhem!

Happy Saturday and Happy Valentine's Day! Thought I would share the other card I had started and then abandoned for the GSG Monochromatic Mayhem challenge...it will be dh's Valentine card, so hope he doesn't see it! lol! I like the Pacific Point color, but it's one that I have trouble using, it's kind of bold for me...I'm so delicate (HA!), but I do like it paired with the Bashful Blue like on that owl paper.

Well, I spent WAY too much time on that facebook last night, lol! It is so great for talking to friends...old ones and current ones! I sent a link to dh to invite him to join. He said "no thanks"! Can you believe that? Then last night our conversation went something like this:

dh: What are you doing?
me: Talking to friends...looking for more friends...
dh: In real time?
me: Yes, like chatting.
dh: Well, I guess I can see the appeal of that. They can see you online? I wouldn't add anymore, you're gonna have to talk to them.
me: That's kind of the point...you should join!
dh: No, I don't wanna talk to people.

LOL! He's Mr. Social! At least he likes to talk to me! Which reminds me...do y'all have big Valentine plans? I'm thinking we don't! lol! We talked about going to see a matinee movie this afternoon, but then I remembered I have the "Trunka Trunka Burning Love" school carnival today. It's in the school parking lot, hence the "trunk" business I guess. The high temp is only going to be 58 degrees, so I'm gonna be freezing in my love fortune-telling gypsy costume! I may have to replace the fish-net stockings with wool tights! lol!

Hope you have a great Saturday and Valentine's Day! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Recipe
Stamps: Owl Together Now, Polka Dot.
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Good Morning Sunshine DSP.
Ink: Pacific Point.
Accessories: 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Pacific Point Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals.

GREAT card, Angie! I love how you used a circle of the dp as the main image!

I've not very active on Facebook, but my own teenage daughter will not accept me as her friend! Can you believe the nerve of her?! She said, "that would just be too weird"!

I'm a facebook junkie, too! My husband joined and checks it MAYBE once a month...and I had to add some pictures on his profile so he didn't have that silhouette guy forever! hehe!

This is super cute! What a great idea for the pp!!

I spend enough time in FB. I'm kind of pissed tho. Ppl who never talked to me back in the days (we barely nodded) requesting to be added. I did accept a few and it's the same thing. They've NEVER said hi. Gr!!!

So lately I've been a FB b****. If I see that "friend" having a lot of "friends" I'll remove him/her. Currently I have 11 ppl pending approval.

Maybe I'm asking too much but come on, at least once/twice a year say hello.

Angie, I LOVE your monochromatic cards! I too have trouble with Pacific Point, but I love it, if that makes any sense?!! The pink baby cards are adorable too- with or without the scallop strip! I love the dots with the crocheted flower- too too sweet!! So glad you played along- sorry I hadn't seen them until now!

So gorgeous!! I love that sweet owl stamp!
Facebook is addictive huh?! Hubby just got one (I have one through a similar NZ site) but I seem to find myself hijacking his, and finding random people I havent seen for years!!

How is he my brother? How did we come from the same gene pool? What is not to love about talking with people?
