Happy Monday! The students and I survived our first day back from Spring Break! Schwooo! I'm thinking I should already be in bed tonight, however, doh! It's hard to get back on the *day* schedule after a week on the *night* schedule! :)
Here's a quick share of a card I made over the break using that popular chalkboard technique. This is my first attempt, it's a pretty simple card. The Woo Hoo stamp from Stampin' Up! makes the technique pretty easy! I finished it off with some recycled ribbon (from pajama bottoms, I think!) and I'm linking it up for The Friday Mashup #101!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!
Recipe
Stamps: Woo Hoo!
Cardstock: Basic Black
Ink: Craft White, Versamark
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Pure Color Pencils (retired), recycled ribbon.

Brilliant girl! Seriously, simple, but utterly perfect! Love it! Thanks for playing TFMU! :-)
wooo hoooooo...love it.
Love the black-on-black simplicity! Very nice. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.
Loving your chalkboard look!
Pink is such a great pair with chalkboard stuff ... love it here! Your erased chalk background is perfect!! I tend to like the cleaner chalkboard designs (with crisp white like you have) so this is a great idea to still get the look, without messing up the sentiment. So smart, Angie!
This is adorable! Love the pink and black! Great technique...I haven't tried it yet. Can you say, "Chicken!"??
What a fab stamp to use for this technique - perfect! Love how you've added the pink striped ribbon as well! Thanks for playing along with the Friday Mashup this week!
