Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 70: fashion buttons

Happy Sunday evening! Once again I'm left with that feeling where did the weekend go?! How did I only get one card made the whole weekend?! Waaaahhhhh! :)

I loved the colors this week in Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 70, so I just squeezed this card in and took a picture before the daylight was all gone! The 'fashion buttons' piece is from the Stampin' Up! Sweet Stitches DSP in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I put a little plain chipboard behind it to make it stronger, then I sewed some big buttons on top, super easy! I love all the "sewing themed" stuff lately but I never know what sentiment to put on the card?! Guess I'll just wait until I need a card and I can stamp a sentiment on the inside? Anything goes?

Well, off to finish a little bit of school stuff before the Amazing Race starts, whoo hoo! Anyone else excited?! And dh and I finally went and saw The King's Speech at a matinee yesterday, so good! It was our belated Valentine's Date!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Recipe: all from Stampin' Up!
Cardstock: Whisper White, Sweet Stitches DSP.
Accessories: Sweet Stitches fabric, Tangerine Tango and Pear Pizazz Designer Big Buttons, Linen Thread, Dimensionals.

Love this sweet card! I feel the same way about the sewing stuff...so cute but what sentiments go with it? LOL

Such a fab card! I like your idea of stamping a sentiment in the inside for when you need it. It could be birthday, thank you, congrats, or whatever you want to make it.

Beautiful job, Angie. I love using torn fabric for ribbon - glad I'm not the only one. It's adorable.

I was not happy when Jet and Cord couldn't figure out what they were doing wrong!
I love that card, it's so vibrant! And I see you used the fabric! I bought both kinds of Christmas patterns, 2 of each and then hid it for safe keeping.

Yes, I am excited that the Amazing Race is on again, especially since the cowboys are back! I can't believe they left us hanging like that... I just want to see them win this time!
