Kazan's Sketch: Great Friends

Happy Monday! (I can only choke that out because it's 5 days and counting until Spring Break!) I hope everyone had a great weekend! I got a lot done around the house and caught up with two friends who came over Sunday for belated Stamp Club. I always feel better when they come over, thanks, girls!

After my Forest Friends trio from Saturday, this is the only other thing I made. I used a sketch Kazan posted early over at 2 Sketches 4 You. I only glanced at it and then tried to do it from memory, and after looking at it again now, I don't think I got it quite right. I'm not too sure if I like my card...that bottom piece reminds me of having your pants pulled up too high over your waist, like Erkel!

Anywhooo, I used another new Occasions Mini set called Great Friend, as well as some new paper called Walk in the Park and a new Big Shot die called Matchbox Bigz. I'm looking forward to playing with these goodies some more this week!

Okay, that's a ta-ta for now! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Recipe
Stamps: Great Friend
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Walk in the Park DSP.
Ink: Basic Gray.
Accessories: White Satin Ribbon, Pretties Kit, Big Shot, Matchbox Bigz die, Glue Dots.

Angie...I love the fan-fold addition. This looks fabulous. I can't wait to get a hold of this new set too! It looks like a K.Werner design I think!

Too funny! I think you just insulted your card! But I think it looks great!

I have never thought of a too-big panel on my card (which I do all the time) as high waisted pants. I love how your mind works.
The card is fabulous. You have such great vision, I might CASE your fan fold. If I can down to the stamp dungeon.

Well, I like the card, but then when you refer to Urkel, I can't help but see that too!

Beautiful card. Can't decide whether it has a Japanese Asian (think Geisha) feel or a Southern genteel gentelwoman with a fan feel. Either way Gorgeous!

Peace and blessings - Jean
