My friend Jenni gets the card kits a lot, and I admit, they do come in handy! 

It's nice having everything you need right there together for a quick card!

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

I'm super excited to be the guest designer this week! :)

I don't know about your weather, but I've been saying "brrr" every day for the last two weeks, so when I saw this beautiful scarf, I knew I had to go with that feeling.  I used my CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Heart Board Fri-Die and Verve "Sip and Savor" stamp set, along with some old Basic Grey chipboard letters. 

Curtain Call has a new sponsor, Hero Arts, for this challenge!  A randomly selected participant will receive SIX new clear stamp sets from the Hero Arts, while the LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

I whipped up this little card on Saturday for the Fusion Card Challenge!

Isn't that picture dreamy? I just used the sketch here, but I love that chalkboard and banner!

It's the one year anniversary for the Fusion challenge, can you believe that? 

Time flies, right? They always have great inspiration. 

I turned my oval piece a little sideways, but that's how love is sometimes, right?!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps January Release #3: Smitten

Welcome back to the 3rd and last day of the January release for CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!

Today we have a fabulous new stamp set: Smitten!

This set is another beautiful combination of big, block sentiments and graceful, scripty ones. I love the old-fashioned word "smitten" and use it along with "courting" all the time when reminding my dh of our early romantic days! hehe!

For my card above, I embossed the sentiments, then made a watercolor heart around them. To me it looks like a heart tornado, which actually fits pretty well, I think! lol!

For my card below, I kept it super simple and played along with the CAS(E) This Sketch #104. I embossed the sentiment in black, then used the heart die from the new Tic Tac Toe Fri-Die (shown yesterday) with some glittery red cardstock.
