GSG Limited Supply Challenge: Monochromatic Mayhem!

Happy Friday! Thank goodness! It has been one stressful week, and I am ready for the weekend! lol!

I tried to make this card for the Great Swap Girls challenge this week, you can see it here. Well, I was stressing out trying to get 2 stamp sets to use, so I had to add this stuff on the inside of the card. Now I just looked over there and I was supposed to use some designer series paper! Doh! I had the pink pirouette cardstock left over, rejected from this card, so I took the lazy way out!

**Edited to add: Here is a revised card for the challenge! I added a scallop strip of Sweet Always designer series paper! How did I have time, you ask?! It's spirit Friday so I can wear jeans and a school t-shirt, and I didn't fix my hair! lol!

Here are the details, you should play along:

This week your challenge is to use any, all or some of these limited supplies while making a monochromatic card:
  • Paper: One pattern of DSP (remember, monochromatic), one neutral and unlimited solid colors (but remember, monochromatic- so maybe all pink/reds or all shades of blues etc).
  • Stamps: 2 stamp sets required, one current and one retired.
  • Accessories: Any as long as they are all the same color!

Looks like I may have to try another one. I had a cute one started with Pacific Point and some cute owl paper, but I got stuck. Looks like I better give it another go tonight! But, at least this card doesn't have the Billboard alphabet, like I promised not to use! lol!

Okay, I'm outta here! Yay for Friday! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Recipe
